About Me

Hi! I am Yao Zhang (张耀), a Master’s student in Surveying Engineering at Wuhan University. I am with the State Key Laboratory of Information Engineering in Surveying, Mapping and Remote Sensing. I received my B.Eng. in Mechanical Design, Manufacturing and Automation from Northeast Forestry University in 2026.

My research interests include:

  • Remote Sensing Foundation Models: learning and adapting general visual representations for Earth observation imagery.
  • Multimodal Large Language Models: connecting geospatial visual information with language understanding.
  • Multimodal Reasoning: reasoning over visual evidence and structured spatial context.
